Your information
PRIVACY
NOTICE.
This notice explains how Temple Martial Arts, a TMA Kickboxing franchisee, uses personal information collected through this microsite, including when you search its venues or book a free trial.
WHO WE ARE.
This microsite is operated by Temple Martial Arts, a TMA Kickboxing franchisee, at 16 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6BJ.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@temple-martialarts.co.uk.
All venues listed on this microsite are managed through the same Temple Martial Arts team. Trial bookings from every venue are sent to our bookings team.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT.
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- your name, email address and mobile number;
- the attendee’s name and age;
- the club, class, date and time you select;
- how you heard about TMA and your marketing preference;
- messages you send us and records relating to your trial booking; and
- basic technical and security information created when the website is used.
If you use postcode or location search, that information is used to show nearby venues. Please discuss medical conditions, injuries or additional support needs directly with the franchisee rather than entering health information into the website booking form.
HOW WE USE IT.
We use personal information to:
- find suitable clubs and classes;
- process and manage free trial bookings;
- send the booking to the Temple Martial Arts team;
- contact you about the trial, including confirmations, reminders and rearrangements;
- respond to questions and provide customer support;
- keep the website secure and improve our services; and
- send optional marketing when you have chosen to receive it.
OUR LAWFUL BASES.
We process booking information because it is necessary to take steps at your request and to provide the service you ask for. We also use information where necessary for our legitimate interests in administering TMA enquiries, classes and the franchise network, provided those interests do not override your rights. We use consent for optional email marketing, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
WHO RECEIVES YOUR INFORMATION.
Your booking information may be shared with:
- the Temple Martial Arts team and the coaches responsible for the venue you select;
- Acuity Scheduling, to record and manage bookings, either automatically or by the team;
- Twilio, when enabled, to send booking texts you have requested (using your mobile number and trial details);
- suppliers that provide website hosting, communications, security or technical support; and
- professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where required by law.
After receiving a website booking, we may add it to Acuity automatically or manually and contact you by email, requested text messages or WhatsApp with trial details, reminders or any changes. Booking text messages are separate from optional marketing.
CHILDREN’S INFORMATION.
A parent or guardian must make the booking for anyone under 18. We collect only the child’s name, age and class details needed to arrange the trial. We use the parent or guardian’s contact details for booking communications.
COOKIES, MAPS AND LOCATION SEARCH.
Google Ads advertising measurement is available only if you accept advertising cookies. Google Analytics measures visits and steps through the booking process only if you accept website analytics cookies. This helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors leave the booking process. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or attendee details in our analytics events. We do not load Google tags when you reject all optional tracking. You can reject optional tracking or change your choice through Cookie settings. Your consent choice is stored on this device for up to six months.
Analytics page addresses retain validated advertising click IDs and standard campaign tags to identify how visitors reached the site. Other URL parameters and fragments are omitted. If you allow advertising measurement, advertising click identifiers are stored on this device for up to 90 days from the ad click and may be attached to your trial booking. This helps us link a later booking to the advert you clicked. A new ad click can replace the previous record. The browser record expires automatically and is removed if you withdraw advertising consent through Cookie settings. Clearing your browser data or using a different device may prevent this link. Withdrawal stops future tracking; it does not automatically delete information already attached to a booking. With advertising consent, Google receives technical information and a successful booking conversion event with a booking reference. We do not send attendee names, email addresses, telephone numbers or form answers to Google through these tags.
Postcode searches use Postcodes.io. Maps use OpenStreetMap tiles, which receive technical request information such as your IP address. Browser location is used only when you choose “Use my location” and grant permission. Location search does not save your location as a booking record.
When you submit a trial booking, your details are saved securely by our website hosting provider and sent to our bookings team using Resend, our email delivery provider. The booking may be added to Acuity automatically. If automation is unavailable, the team completes the entry and confirmation. Requested booking texts may be sent using Twilio or Acuity.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT.
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the reason it was collected, to manage enquiries and bookings, and to meet legal or operational requirements. If an attendee becomes a member, Temple Martial Arts will explain how membership records are retained. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or they are no longer needed.
YOUR RIGHTS.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.
To exercise a right or raise a concern, email info@temple-martialarts.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE.
We may update this notice when the website, booking process or our legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
